I took a series of portraits of some of my more interesting teachers in the months before I left school.

Dr. Carpenter taught my english class Shakespeare, but often ended up going off topic into rather more interesting subjects, morality, history, religion, violence, sexuality and so on.

Is this a texture or did you sharpen it extremely?
Well, anyway, I like this photo. The woman looks so lost among all these pictures on the wall, but also happy, she has a very calm outlook... the photo seems posed on one side, but on the other it doesn't :)

Thanks, it was a quick shot between lessons so I pretty much had to take the scene as it was with very little staging or control. I think I closed two blinds and that was about it.
